Maples - Health Log is a personal record-keeping web app for blood pressure, heart rate and blood sugar readings. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose or treat any condition. We designed it so that your health data stays with you.

What the app stores and where

• On your device. The people you add and the readings you enter are saved in your browser's local storage on your own phone or computer.
• In your own Google Sheets (optional). If you choose to connect Google, the app creates a spreadsheet in your own Google Drive and writes your readings there. That spreadsheet belongs to you.
• In backup files you save (optional). If you export a backup, the file is saved to your device. You decide where to keep it.

There is no app server or database. Your readings are never sent to us or to any third party.

Google account data

If you sign in with Google, the app requests only:

• Your email address, to show which account is connected and to confirm that your activation code matches the Gmail address used for your purchase.
• Access to files the app creates in your Google Drive (the drive.file permission). The app cannot see or open any other file in your Drive.

This information is used only inside the app, in your browser, to provide these features. It is not stored on any server, sold, shared, or used for advertising.

Maples - Health Log's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Other services

The page is served by Cloudflare Pages and loads fonts from Google Fonts. Like any website, these providers may receive standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the page. They do not receive your readings.

Your choices

• You can use the app without connecting Google.
• You can disconnect Google at any time, and revoke access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
• You can delete your data by clearing the app's data in your browser, deleting the spreadsheet in your Google Drive, and deleting any backup files.

Children

The app is intended for use by adults managing their own or their family's records.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
